Good Neighbor House provides a helping hand to those in need. Our goal is to lift people up, provide hope during difficult circumstances and to help people “get on their feet”. We are a "Bridge To Self-Sufficiency". We invite you to "come on in" and take a look around the website, and to join us in this exciting endeavor.

On August 3, 2009, Good Neighbor House held its 10th Annual Golf Outing at Yankee Trace Golf Course and the outing was a huge success.  We raised almost $23,000 that will help to support the services and programs that  thousands of our underserved individuals and families across the Miami Valley.

Through the support of numerous sponsors and players our underserved neighbors are able to begin building a bridged to self sufficiency for themselves and their families.

- Volunteer: Jeanne Simmons

Jeanne Simmons has been a Good Neighbor House volunteer for over twelve years. She enjoys her work here both on the front desk and also in our intake area. She also helps with our inventory by helping to keep track of our departmental totals.

But Jeanne also has covered in other departments sometimes in our clothing or household areas (and we’ve spotted her filling orders in pantry too).  Jeanne has a wonderful talent of being able to multi task and still makes you feel that she has 100 percent of her attention focused on you!
