This Giving Tuesday, Help Us Bring Hope, Warmth, and Nourishment to Our Neighbors

Giving Tuesday is December 2nd but You Can Give Today

Giving Tuesday is here, a day when generosity shines brightest and communities come together to lift one another up. At Good Neighbor House, we are grateful every day for the support that allows us to stand beside our neighbors when they need it most. And this year, the need is greater than ever.

As we head into the holiday season and the coldest months of the year, many families and individuals in our community are struggling to access even the most basic necessities. Our Food Pantry is serving record numbers, and shelves that should be fully stocked for the holidays are thinning faster than we can replenish them. At the same time, we are preparing Blessing Bags filled with essential supplies for our unhoused neighbors, items they desperately need as temperatures drop.

Your Giving Tuesday gift will directly support:

🍎 Holiday Food for Families in Need

Donations will go toward purchasing pantry staples, holiday meal items, and fresh foods so families can gather around a table with dignity and joy, something many would otherwise go without.

🧤 Blessing Bag Supplies for Our Homeless Neighbors

These life giving bags include hygiene essentials, warm socks, gloves, snacks, hand warmers, and other items that offer comfort and survival support during the winter months.

Every donation, big or small, makes an immediate impact. When you give, you are not simply providing supplies. You are providing warmth, safety, dignity, and hope.

Why Your Gift Matters Right Now

Winter is especially harsh on neighbors experiencing homelessness, and food insecurity rises sharply during the holiday season. Your generosity helps ensure that no one in our community is left behind or forgotten.

Together, we can continue to be the “good neighbor” our name promises, showing up with compassion, kindness, and care.
